Question for the meat-eaters on here: What’s the best way to prepare chicken for a cat? The last time I steamed it, and I clearly over cooked it, so it wasn’t the irresistible treat I hoped, and I really need Vicky to eat. Any advice would be much appreciated. thank you!

This is the level of respectful discourse that Northwestern deserves.
It remains not only so shameful and such a profound betrayal but also just so EMBARRASSING that universities are signing things that are like:

"Men" and "Women" are defined the way President Buttface said in his Big Fancy Statement.

On of the core principles of information literacy is the information is constructed and contextual. One problem with AI-generated summaries is that they obscure the constructedness and context of information, impeding information literacy development.
Part of what makes this different from previous iterations of misreading/misunderstanding is that these claims do not arrive to the students within specific sources and contexts, but rather appear as generalized un-sourced truisms.

I worked for an architecture firm in NY in the early 2000s that was an early adopter of the “cloud.” Then, on August 29, 2005, our entire website disappeared. Gone. Bu-bye.

Turned out our “cloud” was a server in New Orleans, which was swept away when Hurricane Katrina broke the levees…

Did I just spend half an hour paging through blog posts on Terry Hope Romero's now-defunct site, as captured by the Internet Archive, so that I could continue making stuffing that has been my tradition for 15 years, which I have never bothered to print? Yes I did. web.archive.org/web/20141129...

I am paraphrasing my much smarter partner here, but disability activism is world building. Rest in power, Alice Wong 💔
Alice Wong taught us that disabled people don’t just leave memories behind—they leave infrastructure. Lineages of care. Methods of collectivity, survival. She named the connective tissue that holds our communities together, even across death, even across the losses that come too fast and too often.

You've got to be kidding me. Sure, it APPEARS to violate the judge's restriction on use of force and isn't just morally repugnant, sociopathic, and physically dangerouos. No worries. I'd hate for the media to not hedge.
A Berwyn family was driving with their 1-year-old child Saturday when they were pepper-sprayed by federal agents, a video taken by the family shows. The action appears to violate a judge’s restriction on use of force.

Someone was mean about my Black-owned, queer-affirming yoga studio on internet today, so I had to do a deep dive to learn that her parents bought a $3.5 million house in a historically Black neighborhood and she went to a high school for $51k a year with 0.5% Black students and I am losing my mind.
