Mmmmmmm. I don't see it with They Live, nor grandaddy War Of The Worlds. The commentary will inevitably go over someone's head (see Isao Takahata's concerns about whether a war movie can be anti-war at all), but the themes are not right-coded.

In the meantime, EU citizens will need to continue pressuring their respective govts to oppose chat control

The vast majority of the country has no idea how out of control ICE is right now. Yes, there's reporting on ICE raids and protests, but most people are not seeing photos and videos of horrific incidents like this, or the apartment building raid.

If most people did know they'd be horrified.
