We've prepared a zine version of our text "Rapid Response Networks in the Twin Cities," describing the dynamic and resilient system that people in the Twin Cities have developed to keep the pressure on ICE.

2025 is coming to end and some people who claim not to be fascists are still associating themselves with fascist outlets like X.

I claim, perhaps charitably, that it's because they don't understand how the internet works. Either way, this needs to change.

Fascintern Media
We are facing a coordinated international fascist movement that works with explicit backing from Moscow, Washington, and tech monopolies, and is propagating itself through its own media apparatus. Yet...

I've told this story on ContrabandCamp but it's worth sharing for BHM because it's one of the greatest stories ever.

Happy 🇬🇧 UK pub day to THE CROWN’S SILENCE—a deeply researched narrative history of the monarchy’s centuries-long entanglement with slavery. This is the new history book the far right loathes. Please buy it b/c it’s important history but—also—it will really piss them off if it does well in the UK!!😉😘

I'm still waiting for some reporting on how many clergy showed up for today's "activities." There was a national call. I did an airport pick-up a pastor from upstate NY on Tuesday.

I haven't seen much reporting in this: there was a national call for clergy to come to MSP for today. And I know many answered because I picked up one at the airport on Tuesday. 1/
The clergy just keep coming to this anti-ICE protest.

Genuinely unclear where they all will go — it’s packed outside on the sidewalk already.

Kramerbooks won.

the people who were scolded relentlessly for celebrating this moment nine years ago have been completely vindicated. punching a nazi in the face now polls higher than any member of congress.

Well, it’s the 9th anniversary of this today. No special reason for mentioning it now, obviously

Let's chat about Indigenous people. We always need allies and appreciate those who support and uplift Indigenous peoples. But here's something you need to remember is that while we need you to support us, support does not mean that you SPEAK FOR OR OVER US, nor do you center yourself or your agenda.

It would appear I am now a columnist at Inside Higher Ed. My first piece focuses on McCarthyism, censorship, and our current moment in higher education. This is an essay I started nearly 6 months ago so I'm glad to finally share it with y'all.
