@doublefine.com's craftsmanship + @leepetty.bsky.social's masterpiece 'Keeper' is beyond anything else I've played in years.

Perfect execution, SCULPTED in #VR with @adobe.com's Substance 3D during the pandemic, this is this generation's 'Journey' or 'Fantasia', soaked in synaesthetic moments.

Keeper update!
▪️Noir mode!
▪️Ultrawide monitor support!
▪️New accessibility features!

You would think a colorful game like Keeper would loose a lot going black & white, but this version has been tuned by @leepetty.bsky.social himself so it really highlights the drama. (As well as his love for AC/DC.)

Stoppard's stage directions for the desk clutter in Arcadia lives rent free in my head. A playwright and director who truly understood all parts of a theatre production working together to make magic. Rest in peace.

Reading old computer graphics white papers is super fun because every so often you come across the most liminal, weird looking images. Like this one from 1983.

In the decade-plus I've been making my weekly videos, Rebecca was the only developer to have jumped into my comments to clear up a point I was unclear about—then she graciously agreed to be on the podcast. I found her to be as generous and kind as she was talented. It's truly tragic that she's gone.

Y'all, I know two hours is a big time commitment, but this panel I arranged and hosted last month is one of the most important things I've ever done for video game history. The launch of the NES is a crazier story than most people realize, and my guests were extremely generous with their memories.
