OpenAI’s strategy is very clear, it’s trying to get people - especially young people - so reliant on its products intellectually & emotionally (& now sexually!) that going without them becomes unthinkable. And they need signs of that strategy working to keep the funding flowing in

A reminder:

Trans rights are human rights.

Continuing to support the Harry Potter franchise in any way directly funds JK Rowling's anti-trans agenda. She has said so herself.

If you still support the HP franchise should should unfollow me.

The LGBTQIA+ community is always welcome on my page.

Being a bisexual emperor must be the most stressful shit in the world. You go to the inner palace and your wives are scheming. You go to the outer court and the male concubines that you promoted to viziers are fighting. Your wife just poisoned your favorite twink eunuch. There’s no peace

That “no” is a complete sentence. That me being uncomfortable is sufficient reason to set a boundary, and I don’t need a “good enough” reason not to do someone a favor or agree to something.

It's my birthday! 🍰
May I ask for art shares on this fine day 💜✨

As a bonus, I've been wondering, is there any particular character or theme you'd like to see me draw in the future? If so, let me know!

The fact that the Epstein survivors had to give a press conference outside – and not in the halls of congress, shows you exactly who is guilty AF and the power they are wielding to try and silence the victims.

Very interesting algorithm analysis, which explains the repeated problems with content moderation getting in the way of social justice

tldr: it's always good to block a TERF or a white supremacist or any other type of fascist

[writing the constitution]

Benjamin Franklin: Write down "no dumb fucks as president"

Alexander Hamilton: Stop saying that

Benjamin Franklin: I'm tellin' you. You're gonna regret not writing that down
Magical library makes me think of "The Starless Sea" by Erin Morgenstern. Highly recommend her first book, "The Night Circus", as well. Both are standalone novels, no series unfortunately.
Handwriting - there is just something about the written word whether it is a quick note on a post-it or a love letter...there is a beauty to handwritten text that can't be replicated by type.

Do any of you review young adult science fiction or fantasy books? A friend of mine has just published a new book and it struck me that I probably still have some useful connections in this place. If you're interested, let me know and I'll put you in touch.

the US profoundly needs a children's rights movement. children are not property... they deserve opportunity and learning and autonomy and security.... and our country just does not acknowledge this

Protecting kids is the parents job, beginning middle end. And it’s also the parents job to know when not to “protect them” when it would benefit them more to know, see, or do something whilst young and able to have support to trip up and make mistakes.

If you cannot do that don’t have kids.
My mom is a huge fan and regularly bought his books. She switched to ebooks and gave me the majority of her physical books, a large amount of them I donated to our library. Still to this day, she reads his books despite his being a ghostwriter factory.
Before I went self-employed during the pandemic, I reviewed documents for a neuropsychologist who worked personal injury litigation cases as an expert witness. I took a huge leap and applied for a remote legal assistant position with one of the law firms we occasionally worked with. We'll see!

When a network lays off one of America’s greatest satirists, it’s not because he failed. It’s because he succeeded too loudly.
Truly amazing books, love them.
Ten writers by whom I've read more than five books:

Stephen King
Gail Carriger
Jim Butcher
Leigh Bardugo
Laini Taylor
Laurell K. Hamilton
E.K. Johnston
Robert Jordan
Brandon Sanderson
Philip Pullman

That's the ones off the top of my head but I imagine there are many others.
