People CANNOT function for long at a bare minimum. Not well. It fuels hostility and fatigue, which is part of WHY society likes to keep the masses as poor as possible- it fosters division and makes it much harder to stand up for yourselves and each other.

I think a lot of people (hell, me included!) are having trouble getting their heads around the fact that 1 in 7 men admitted(!) to willingness to commit CSA.
Of course, we had so much trouble reckoning with the prevalence of fathers sexually abusing their kids that we did the Satanic Panic.

If you follow this to its logical conclusion then only women can be caregivers, so we must ban them from working.
Needless to say, I reject that. There are abusive men - and women - but we should not assume all people are bad because some are.
