I've mentioned before that Rider sometimes swims, but I've also mentioned that *nothing* he does is "just for fun"
That said, he does swim for enjoyment, even if he has other reasons.
He likes being as physically prepared as possible for any possible circumstance.

Thank you to the people who nominated my heart child of a book. Seeing that nomination for best cover/cover artist when *I* spent months drawing the cover from scratch is unbelieveable. I've always seen myself as a writer, but I'm still getting used to calling myself an artist.

My writing very much follows the character & everything else unfolds from that. If something is not matching up, it tends to be an indication that I'm trying to force something & am not listening to my characters.

My writing very much follows the character & everything else unfolds from that. If something is not matching up, it tends to be an indication that I'm trying to force something & am not listening to my characters.

Either they're MCs who are broken recks😭 or no one knows.
That's part of the point to my stories, that we rarely know what another's been through, or where they're coming from . . . what really drives them.
It doesn't excuse evil, nor does it answer it. It simply admits we don't know.

I do not consider all of my antagonists evil. A few are unrepentantly so, and I've no shortage of war crimes and nuanced serial killers.

Benadic's, okay fine he's violent and aggressive but he's also grieving his brother's death throughout the wip
Genevieve just has trauma and a personality disorder and I barely consider her a villain (she's more her own villain)
