It is quite funny the way they keep throwing money at this to try and make AI happen on this massive scale, but it is just a blackhole and profitability just doesn't seem close to being on the horizon. It also doesnt bode well for any VC exit strategy, as this kinda loss with no turn around

What is infruiating about the online safety act, is that ths government and ofcom have shown themselves at the start of this year to be completely impotent when it comes to online safety.- actual issues like twitter and its AI product basically being a CSAM producer now, is why there was no debate

As someone in IP and more specifically trade marks, the existence of brand mascots in Japan fascinate me so much from a brand perspective and makes me think that sometimes brand work in the UK and Europe is boring cause we don't engage with having mascots for everything.

There is something more I want to touch on as a queer person with this, the problem isn't cishet people engaging with media and art that is queer and learning. It is that our identities are being packaged and sold in a way that makes them no longer our own, it belongs to the consumer
It is the ultimate end process of capitalism, everything is commodified and packaged in marketable formats. Sexuality and representation no longer belongs to the communities but the consumer that it gets marketed to. I hate it with a burning passion.

Draw what you want! Sounds really basic but solely making art with the expectation of popularity + success will poison the well of your artistic spirit, and you won’t really develop an artistic voice if you’re just trying appease your audience at all times, save for a voice that actually isn’t yours
