There are five "easy wins" for accessibility that I teach about that require no training and no effort. This is one. Alt text is another. Clear directions/instructions is the third. Descriptive links is the fourth and captions is the fifth.
When using Microsoft Word or Google Docs, don't just make text bigger and bolder to make it a heading. That will work for sighted users, but screen reader users will miss that and just hear it as normal paragraph text. Use actual heading styles, like level 1 through 6.

My 7yo is in love with home renovation shows. Just once I want them to do the big reveal and the homeowner is like "meh, I liked the old one better." I feel like that would be good television.
