Genuinely curious if this is true?

Because you have to pay for (more) correct answers, but we’ll give you lies for free is a VERY bad model. Though I guess not that different from our current media environment.
Are you using the free versions or paying? There's a difference and it's sometimes pretty stark.

I know we all wxpect him to declare war, but I don’t think that’s how this goes down. He’s gonna announce they’re attacking targets in the ground in Venezuela for some pretense. He will deny it is a war declaration. Always give his sycophants the thinnest veneer of deniability, that’s how he works…

Trump on Venezuela: "Getting land, oil rights, whatever we had -- they took it away because we had a president that maybe wasn't watching. But they're not gonna do that. We want it back. They took our oil rights. We had a lot of oil there. They threw our companies out. And we want it back."

The issue is that the modern Russian Federation *does* have substantial ideological continuity with the 19th century empire. Its overwhelmingly dominant political ideology is specifically that of Russian nationalism that seeks to restore the empire.

I know it feels better to watch these guys deal with the cognitive dissonance of their vote, but you realize this is just the current equivalent of Trump voter diner interviews, right? Just more centering rabid MAGA as “real Americans” for some fluff pieces that challenge nothing?

Uh... can you name some of the cases where timing an academic test is important?

Cuz the only jobs I can think of where you have to commonly make time sensitive decisions (aka, emergency services) develop those skills in hands-on guided experiences, not sit-down tests.

👏 If 👏 extra 👏 time 👏 helps 👏 you’re 👏 testing 👏 speed 👏 not 👏 knowledge 👏
What is the actual claim here? That some students are "cheating" by getting extra time on tests?

I invigilate exams for students with accessibility needs. At a certain point, extra time only helps if you actually know the material.

Software engineers really telling on themselves with their embrace of AI. It’s now clear to me 1) just how much they hate their jobs and 2) how easy said jobs are. If an LLM really produces a high enough quality product to replace this much of your work, you really weren’t doing much of value.
I don't need LLMs to be original, I need them to be able to do boring predictable coding tasks faster than if I were to do them by hand

One of the simple pleasures in life is BSing with friends and giving them shit. Why would I outsource that to AI? But, then, I guess if you are painfully awkward, don’t know how to be funny, and have few real friends, maybe this approximation of human interactions feels like…I don’t know, belonging?
