Revised, Updated, & Upgraded!

Here's a thread of all the MTG related Starter Packs I can assemble. This time, I'm going to pin the first post to my profile to make it easy to find it.

At the end, I'm going to share a couple of observations that I hope will help Starter Pack creators.

The #MTGxTMNT set has four borderless headliner cards that feature art by Kevin Eastman, the original illustrator of TMNT. Take a look at that shiny signature stamp! So rad.

This image shows off the card ""Leonardo, Sewer Samurai"". Three mana, white mana. Legendary Creature - Mutant Ninja Turtle. Rare Rarity.

Cart art: This full art treatment is done in the black and white comic book style of original TMNT comic creator Kevin Eastman. It depicts a humanoid turtle leaping over the rooftops of a city. The card boxes are lined in gold and the rules text box is signed in gold by Eastman with a doodle of a samurai helmet.

Rules text: Sneak Two mana, two white mana.
Double strike.
During your turn you may cast creature spells with power or toughness one or less from your graveyard. If you cast a spell this way, that creature enters with a finality counter on it. Power three/toughness three.

I mean...the card draw is nice, but, no evasion with the buff hurts this a teeny bit. Keyword is a teeny. Donatello if it makes a different artifact token with mutagen on the other hand....

Geoff @livingcardsmtg.bsky.social (no relation) has done so many photoshopped mashups I'm not even sure he knows how many.

Honestly, I'm inspired by what they and others have done. I'm just a hack playing in the kiddie pool.

The idea of turning on DND when my library's wifi is detected is FASCINATING.

I've set some of the settings up, particularly limiting DND to my contacts list.

I'm hoping this is the magic bullet.
