We evacuated our kids out of Minneapolis this weekend and my spouse reports that as she drove them out of town she saw "multiple freeway exits where people are being pulled over." It feels like the Twin Cities is being subjugated by a hostile occupying force.

Because words are fatal but guns are not. Men will kill women’s over hurt feelings. It happens every damn day. They feel entitled to it. But not only are we not entitled to live free of harassment and assaults, our very life relies on men seeing our humanity, when they don’t.

Exactly. I saw a story about some pastor who stood up to ICE and said he wasn't afraid of them and they kept escalating and screaming "ARE YOU AFRAID NOW?" because that's the whole point.
