What if God was one of us
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus
Trying to make his way home?

Just tryin' to make his way home
Like a holy rolling stone
Back up to heaven all alone
Just tryin' to make his way home
Nobody callin' on the phone

[years later, explaining U.S. history to my kids]

"After all that, what was the thing that finally got them to invoke the 25th?"

"After he started to get along with the socialist."

Always good to get some external validation for a parenting decision. Do not let your kids use roblox.
This interview is a snapshot into where tech companies are with online harassment right now.

They know how to end it, but they decided not to spend the money. They’re prioritizing growth (and profit) above all else. And they’re blaming YOU for logging on to the platform they designed to be unsafe.
We Asked Roblox’s C.E.O. About Child Safety. It Got Tense.

Lizza/Nuzzi, the Kendrick/Drake beef for over-educated political junkies that no one asked for.

(yes of course I’ll read it anyway, you think I’m gonna turn down low-stakes messy drama?)

"Are you thinking about the Roman Empire again?"

C'mon that's a ridiculous internet meme. I'm thinking about the Edmund Fitzgerald.

The little cherry on top of the federal Dems ineptness is learning that certain corners of the DFL can’t stop/won’t stop quixotic primary runs at Ilhan. An ongoing titanic waste of money and time.

agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Turns out Chauncey Billups’ biggest mistake was hooking up with the wrong mafia.
My God they've just created a machine that incentivizes every Trump staffer to break the economy (and much else) on purpose so they can insider trade on Truth Social.

Literally every insider trading son of a bitch in this regime is gonna be deliberately *increasing* volatility as much as possible.
"Truth Social users will be able to trade prediction contracts related to major events and milestones, such as political elections, interest and inflation rate changes, commodity prices on gold and crude oil, events across all major sports leagues"

What the bloody hell?

I know some of it is out of desperation but I think I’ve seen more reckless base running decisions in this game than I did the entire Brewers season, is this really what you all have been watching all year?

Uhh.
Bernie about Platner,

“In all due respect, all right, what I'm worried about, 50,000 Americans may die unnecessarily? And you're worried about a tattoo?"

When I asked about his comments about sexual assault, he said "Have you served four tours of duty?" I said "I have not."

Bernie: "Ok"

Watching how exciting this ALCS game 7 is, after watching the listless Brewers offense against the Dodgers.

The only thing that would ever actually be under siege in South Waterfront would be opening day if that neighborhood ever got a grocery store.
Taken just a few minutes ago outside the ICE facility in Portland that Trump claims is under siege. My message to Donald Trump is this: we don’t need you here. Stay the hell out of our city.
