Minnesota can, and should, move to indict the ICE agent who murdered Good when the courts open on Monday.

And the ICE agents who murdered today.

Further delay only increases the chances of more murder.

Reminder that's needed too much these days: You do not have to watch snuff to be informed.

If you have seen snuff accidentally, try playing some Tetris as soon as you can, it helps traumatic events not stick in your head in unhealthy ways.

ACAB, Fuck ICE, this is not normal.

Read this and consider how these two women who, after being attacked by violent thugs, literally saved the life of their abuser.
And then ICE continued taking them hostage.
People who work with this administration in its pursuit of fascism are not part of the same social contract that we are.
Two women trained as first responders were abducted by three ICE agents. One of the agents starts seizing. The other two don’t know what to do. The women jump into action and save the agent’s life, only to be re-handcuffed and processed.

Detained by ICE, two women became first responders during agent’s seizure
The women say they guided agents through the emergency, later raising concerns about medical protocols, weapons safety and accountability.

Since so many people are fangirling over Carney's supposed "historic" speech in Davos, I want to offer an alternative reading.

This is not left cynicism, but a sober reading of imperial positioning in this moment.

1) Carney squarely positioned Canada as a middle power.

Was just reminded the only couple I was ever part of the wedding party for celebrated 40 years married today.

As it is a sibling I will fully take credit, I'm obviously a lucky charm.

You're going to hear a lot of lies about what the law allows after the Trump Regime's murder of Renee Good.

States can prosecute federal officers, they've been doing it since the 1800s. Trump cannot stop it and cannot pardon it.

Here's the legal analysis

You can turn off video autoplay in settings and you don't need to watch snuff to be informed about cops murdering someone.

NEW from me — I broke down Trump's claim on local right wing radio that the US carried out a Christmas Eve land strike in Venezuela, how he doubled down Monday, the subsequent media reports with no substance, the potential role of social media rumors about an actual fire, and how we need the truth:
Trump says US bombed alleged drug facility in Venezuela. No one knows if it’s true.
It could be a lie from social media, or a conflation of other stories. Either way, Americans need to know.

I don't trust the folks saying these changes aren't going to be used to harm vulnerable populations. Law enforcement in Vancouver is already so biased it can't be true that increasing their power won't hurt the people they hate.

In case you needed one more reason not to use AI …

The CEO of ChatGPT is blaming a teen’s suicide on his failure to follow the terms of service:

Adam Raine, 16, told ChatGPT he was suicidal and the AI bot told him his feelings were valid and even provided suggestions and detailed instructions.
OpenAI says teen's 'misuse' of ChatGPT is to blame for his suicide, because he broke the TOU: 'Users must comply with OpenAI's Usage Policies, which prohibit the use of ChatGPT for suicide or self-har...

Brain damage is bizarre. I was making a call to sort out a medical coverage glitch and despite the rep speaking perfectly clearly they made the mistake of asking me an unexpected question and I had to tell them I did not understand what they were asking.

I did get them the necessary info, at least.
