Love the woman in Nelly's Hot In Here who helpfully clarifies that in virtue of how hot it is becoming she does indeed intend to take her clothes off. In case anyone missed the central themes of the song, I guess.

The whole thing about the discussion whether fascism is irrational (and also that colonial violence was „rational“ vs the Holocaust being „irrational“) is that it seems to lack a fundamental understanding that capitalist rationality is very much irrational.

Why do Americans continue to shun the beautiful simplicity of a duvet in favour of a 1000 thin sheets and quilts that are tucked under a mattress so tightly as to make you feel like you’re in a straight jacket each time you go to sleep?

Wunderkind pianist Marian Filar was born #OTD in 1917. In Majdanek, he almost died from malnutrition and infection and escaped the gas chambers despite him being barely able to stand. He survived 7 camps and returned to the piano after liberatation.
