If we are pals or were friends on Twitter, but I haven't followed you back, feel free to reply here or DM me. I am easily overwhelmed and miss things and have a terrible working memory :)

I remember when some conservative dipshit on Twitter was like "we're taking back rainbows from the left" and obviously it didn't work, but also rainbows represent gays and God's promises*, things that are not at odds in the first place <3

*Genesis translation might be "war bow" in the sky anyway...

I am glad that the left has taken back frogs from the right. Frogs rule. Thank you Portland. Get wrecked Pepe.

little did i know it would lead me to an underreported industrial accident that may have released an airborne plume of radioactive debris over swaths of indonesia

My husband Daniel teaches middle school and he is about at his limit of "SIIIIX-Seven!" As a math teacher, the problem is even worse. If you don't know about 6-7, you're lucky, but your time is probably running short. Gen Alpha slang doesn't have to even make sense at all!!!

do not @ me about the Palestine thing! I am oversimplifying and overrepresenting the situation for the sake of A JOKE TWEET!!! I do not represent INTENSIVE FOREIGN POLICY CRITIQUE!!! I am a garden editor and a slutty mom who owns chickens!!

If the online chatter is correct, Trump is on the verge of accomplishing something that may genuinely better the planet:

1. A real ceasefire for Palestine
2. Dying

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

I'm excited for Limp Bizkit, but I'm a little worried about Antifa...
Question
I'm sick and tired of seeing these thugs terrorize big events and am worried that they will try to interrupt Limp Bizkit's set. My gf (F19) and I (M31) are going to our first Lollapalooza and are concerned about the growing threat around the city

Despite my ability to withstand smut and offensiveness, my general understanding of Ryan Murphy's schtick, AND my interest in true crime... I could not finish the Monster: Ed Gein miniseries. It was just too much. The only enjoyable parts were Hunnam's depiction and the side plots about horror films

One of the things I envy most about people in certain subsets of academia (which isn’t much these days) is the fact that their careers allow them long periods of off-grid time in random places around the world. Often subsidized or part of their research!
