i was talking with someone in the twin cities about how it’s not even accurate to call them protesters. they’re literally just people protecting their city from TERRORISTS.
Every time the Trump regime uses the words "funded protesters" and "outside agitators" news outlets need to cut to this photo from last week.

Went to an aquarium supply store last night and was delighted to see the staff in N95 masks and all customers still required to wear masks also. I wish I saw more places still doing this. The “Covid surcharges” sign behind the till particularly got me 😂

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

This. As well as having law enforcement at polling places. The latter is unfortunately something my fellow poll workers will and do request (b/c most of us working are privileged & haven't been hurt/scared by LEO) & it's hard to explain why LEO on-site isn't the positive they think it is.
One of the reasons it annoys me so much that people think that Trump has the power to make elections not happen by waving a wand that says "martial law" is that the most likely pressure point is actually disrupting voting with right wing militia (federal or no) in Black and Brown areas.
