a little off topic but antis love to talk about the kind violence they’d enact on escorts/clinic workers/abortion patients/companions if they weren’t believers

Stop funding them. What possible reason could there be for continuing to fund a lawless, vicious, racist department that has made its utter contempt for the American people clear as day? Defund DHS, abolish ICE, and imprison Kristi Noem for her crimes.
Members of Congress have a clear, spelled out legal right under the existing DHS funding bill to be allowed into these facilities without this notice.
So if Congress is going to keep funding DHS, there must be meaningful restraints to rein in this brazen lawlessness.

there’s really no reason to think anyone who supported anything short of abolishing ice the past ten years isn’t going to go straight back to We Just Need Better Training when a dem is in office again. better to make that politically untenable before the campaigns even officially start

One thing I really want people to understand is that the Black Panthers were meticulous in their knowledge of the law and opsec - not because they thought the law was awesome, not because they always followed it and never did civil disobedience (lol),

It’s unlikely that Good’s murderer is a particularly depraved or unhinged ICE officer. That’s just everybody who has the personality to be an ICE officer. That’s just ICE. Don’t exceptionalize him, he’s a systemic manifestation.
