One trend I’ve noticed is that my richer, Whiter, friends are moving out of the country and my poorer, Browner friends are staying. I don’t know if it’s a larger trend and if it’ll continue, but I’m really curious about where it leads us demographically.

It's not just the extremes. Sure, we found >1300 special issues with >75% of the articles authored by guest editors themselves. But the bulk of PISS, endogeny beyond any existing threshold, comes from systematic mild abuse.
The real danger is how we've normalised mild abuse, not the extremes.

ICE took the flower man in Echo Park 40 minutes ago. He’s at this corner every day. I’ve bought flowers from the man and woman here for anniversaries and birthdays. Lemmy loves to smell them whenever we walk by in the mornings. I was just at the street corner 15 minutes before it happened. Fuck.
