Gravity Falls is my favorite too!! It became a special interest of mine!

I now have the recently released glow in the dark copy of Book of Bill! 🥰

Share a cartoon you will always love.

I love me Gargoyles. The OG for me is Thundercats. I'll watch Phineas and Ferb all day long. But my favorite?

Gravity Falls.

I spend my working hours editing books or writing my own projects.

I do have limited working hours for a number of reasons so if you catch me from 2pm-5pm, I might be napping/gaming.

I'm most proud of some of my poems like "Marathon" & "The Boxing Ring"

And of course #OttersEditing

“I want to understand how you spend your working hours-and, ideally, what you've made (or are making) that you're most proud of.”

Okay, writers and artists, answer this question!

I spend most of my working hours staring dead-eyed into the middle distance.

I'm probably most proud of The Ruinous Palace of the Metegorgos, a small but vicious dungeon adventure pregnant with body horror and the deep tragedies misogyny creates.

Indie Authors,
I know we're not fond of marketing, but whether you're new to it or looking to extend your efforts; read this blog. @daxaeterna.ink is thorough, and provides many service recommendations along the way.
Read over multiple sessions if needed. Its worth it.

Today's #Repostober is a deeply beloved piece of mine: Moth and Moon.

I made it for the Metamorphosis Gallery event for the Transformation Project. It was a moth themed art gallery put on by BatHaus events. It was a honor to be a part of.

#artshare #art #moth #queerart
A work of art done primarily in GIMP. Not one bit of it was made with trashy Gen AI. In the piece, the focal point is of a strange, cat-like creature with wings. This is a moth cat. The moth cat is a minty green and glows softly. It also has a pink fur tuft and pink wings. It is sitting on a rock.

The moth cat is reaching towards a full, pink, glowing moon.

Against the backdrop of night, there are fire flies. Among the tall grass are purple cone flowers.

Various shades of pink and green are featured heavily throughout the piece.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggles with names. I have the same problem with titles too.

#WeeknightWriters Q5

Raquel wants to leave her hometown, a place she has never felt like she belonged, and start a new life in the capital after winning the Touranimal...

But what she needs is a found family and self-acceptance, not the fame/money of a Tournament.

#WeeknightWriters Q4: I get pretty vivid characters in my head, but the hardest part is keeping them from going off the plan 😅

Also naming them. I will sometimes change names in the middle of plotting or drafting to better match the character.

#WeeknightWriters Q2: Character goals/motivations and misbeliefs.

These determine the overall character arc and what actions the characters take, driving the story forward (or backwards in some cases lol).

#WeeknightWriters Q1: Characters first usually! I have the characters in my head and their arcs, personalities, goals, fears, and misbeliefs help me build the stories I want to tell.

Sometimes I have a story idea first and then some characters, but usually it's the characters then the story.

Q1: Do you typically create characters to match the story you want to tell or build your stories based on character(s) already living in your head? #WeeknightWriters

So true, yeah! I'm working on it. I'm a bit young so I have a lot to learn on balancing all of it.

Hi #WeeknightWriters I'm Steph, working on a YA fantasy book!

I'll admit I got caught up in other things this week and have worked very little on my WIP for #FirstDraftFall

It's hard growing an editing business AND being a writer at the same time 😅

But I've enjoyed seeing everyone's posts!

honestly fu** you if you think gazans are only allowed to ask for help to cover their very basic necessities when they’re starving or being killed, calling a gazan a grifter for trying to secure her education proves that you don’t see gazans as humans who deserve to live equally.

Also? If you can’t work, temporarily or permanently? It’s not your fault and you don’t deserve to starve.

Needing multiple streams of income to stay afloat is a societal failure not a personal one. You should be able to afford a comfortable lifestyle with one job. You are not lazy.
