1 The building in a public asset. Any decision on selling the building should not be up to the board or staff without public consultation.

Not sure those unfamiliar with the geography of Eastern Ontario appreciate how absurd it is Via forced passengers to sleep overnight at the station in Brockville
Brockville is only an hour and a half drive from Ottawa. Via couldn’t get buses to shuttle them back? How is there no contingency plan?

FYI: graduates of *arts degrees* not only achieve the same level of employment AND incomes three years out relative to their STEM counterparts, they also have *higher* job satisfaction, according to a recent report from OCUFA.

Your problem was putting the word “think” next to the words somebody “from the province”…
I happened to be at the City of Ottawa’s Loretta Street traffic facility today and saw the skids of oversized signs that recently arrived. Did nobody from the province think of checking with the municipalities about dimensions and logistics before they produced & shipped these???
