I live in a 10 story monstrocity. Its pretty dope. My cat watches birds flying by and I grilled on the roof with some friends.

Maybe Epoch Times? Like that is a legit cult front.

I've spent the last 8 months of my life working to pass #SB79. It will be transformative for housing in California, and is one of the best things I'll probably ever get to do.

As of this morning, it's officially law; now it's time to drink!

MAJOR NEWS: @GavinNewsom signed SB 79, my bill allowing more housing near public transit — rail, subway, rapid bus.

It’s a huge step for housing in California. It’ll create more homes, strengthen our transit systems & reduce traffic & carbon emissions.

Thank you, Governor!

Ladies and gentlemen, we did it. SB 79 has been signed.

Friends, some advice if you plan on spending time outside in an animal costume, sharing for no particular reason:

-You will sweat a lot more than you think. Have water/snacks

-You cannot move well (the Left Shark guy is a trained experienced professional dancer). Don’t run or you’ll trip and fall.

a lot of people are finally waking up to the importance of the 3rd amendment. As a 3A absolutist, i think it should be illegal for soldiers to be quartered anywhere in this country. they should be camping under the open sky at all times. all military bases and barracks are unconstitutional.

paulfish.bsky.social
I think so, i’m basing things on my time on a grand jury.

They described as a good reason there was a crime and a good reason the accused did it.

paulfish.bsky.social
Its roughly the same process as normal jury duty, random selection of local citizens.

That any of these indictment attempts are failing is unusual. The process is very weighted in favor of the DOJ as the standard is close to “sounds like it might be a crime and maybe they did it”.

The Yankees lost? They got eliminated at home? That’s fucking funny, man. That’s fucking hilarious, bro

Yeah, at a recent protest a group ended up singing "This Land is Your Land" and it was one aspect that felt especially damn good.

Time to deploy John Browns Body.

Doordash a lot more explicit form of one off commercial transaction. I find it much less harmful as everyone knows whats going on and it’s just another polite transaction. The creepy part of llm-chat bots is that it intends to replicate a deeply personal and toxic power dynamic.

paulfish.bsky.social
I’m pretty sure I heard more parodies of that than the song itself.

Also, I have a weird fever dream/memory of people singing crude/edgy parodies of patriotic songs at the school lunch table around 06. Was that a thing?

Like: “This land is my land/only my land…”

“I can’t be racist, all my unpaid servants are black.”

It’s like the guy who configured an “editor chatbot” and immediately sexually harassed it. Thats these guys.

A lot of the AI stuff seems to have a similar vibe. The who “agent stuff”, a UI that copies bossing people around, and giving them hot women’s names gives off rancid fumes.

paulfish.bsky.social
Like even who is Lee Greenwood? Did he do one of those songs thats always playing on the oldies stations? (I’m serious here, I’m 31 and have no idea who this is.)

I really think this is why the subway looms so large in the conservative American mind. Because 99% of the time it is proof that the American experiment in diversity triumphs, as long as paranoid white people aren’t there

You can see on pg. 72 (77 pdf) the stat and appendix has market descriptions. The blackstone stuff was very silly but this looks much more like a cartel. Its still likely more of +10% rent in some markets with undersupply bing much bigger but I would love to see a trial.
