In my latest test game of #Overzealous I amassed quite the heap of psychic imminence despite ongoing schisms. In the end, my cultists got too distracted making tentacle monsters fight Pokemon-style to actually summon their god into the world.

Coming soon: Overzealous: Your cult has no chill!
A pen-and-paper solo RPG about some overenthusiastic cultists… and you, the god they’ll summon if they can just stay focused.

Two ogres sprawled out in a cave with a huge squirming bag, smoking mids
This is already growing on me, because I can ABSOLUTELY see everyone shortening it to "mids", which makes it even better.
“Midfolk” is such an on-point name for fantasy humans.

Soliciting suggestions for solo journaling TTRPGs for someone who isn’t fully sold on the idea of journaling! They do enjoy strategy games and puzzles, so I’m looking for similar gateway games.
I’ve already recommended SPINE by @backwardsttrpg.bsky.social & Dead Belt by @acoupleofdrakes.bsky.social.

“How did you get into ttrpgs?”

Using a pair of tiny silver scissors, I unpicked the hem and climbed inside, where I proceeded to refashion the various pieces until they became a comfortable nest for my own dreams, then I cut star-shaped holes to let my dreams fly. Sometimes there’s a flamethrower.
“How did you get into ttrpgs”

After receiving a full pardon from the governor I found a great deal on a trailer in Malibu and just haven’t had a good reason to get a real job yet.

We are told: the product now has Gemini. We added Rufus. You can talk to Bixby. We've integrated Alice. Chat with Poob. Log on to Poob right now. Poob has it for you. Poob has it for you. Poob has it for you.

We are never told "so what." Even the teams working on these products don't know anymore.
When teams don't understand their own product
A usable product starts with the conceptual model, but designers have "optimized" that work out of the profession. It's time to bring it back.
