i think the main problem is that even if he didn't know it was SS when he got it (plausible as a young shithead marine!), he's had it for 20 years without removing it or covering it up (unthinkable, completely disqualifying)

the overwhelming monetary success of ub sets feels threatening in a way. it's a little spooky to hear that Final Fantasy did so much dramatically better than other sets; if that keeps happening with marvel et al, does hasbro have enough incentive to keep funding the creative work?
