i reviewed skate story, broke my hands, and now i’m having a nice hot drink with my fingers curled up like the fossilized cocktail prawns from that scene in beetlejuice thinking about how i want to do it all again
Can't sleep? Moon too bright? Want to eat it?

It's a simple goal for a demon in the underworld, as you'll find in this gorgeous, extraordinary narrative adventure that just so happens to require skateboarding.

played the demo at bitsummit and spent the whole time on minesweeper, they got me good
I picked up No Players Online both to support it after the DMCA thing and because I wanted to see how they expanded what was in the Haunted PS1 Demo Disk version, but no one told me it went all-in on the 90s OS/Internet as a framing device! I love this stuff.

Reminder that I'm still looking fulltime or contract work as a senior writer or narrative designer. If you need someone who can write sharp characters, poetic prose, and emotional stories, I'm available! You can find my portfolio here: www.hazelmonforton.com
It's #portfolioday! I'm presently a senior narrative designer at Blizzard, but before that I was at Bungie and Arkane. I wrote for the Writer's Guild award-nominated Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and a bunch of critically acclaimed seasons and expansions in Destiny 2.

i think 3d level design is really dumb and amazing and beautiful... its one of those things that i think as an art form we sort of just "got" almost as soon as the technology was available to get it... like Quake 1 - Gloom Keep, it's ALL there. this might as well be an Elden Ring level

People need to boycott this show and not just half ass. Shame everyone who plans on watching it. This isn't about Eurovision, it's about Israel getting away with committing genocide because THERE ARE NEVER ANY CONSEQUENCES. They should be untouchable by now. Everybody needs to walk the fucking walk.
Eurovision has allowed Israel to compete in 2026.

Ireland, Spain, Slovenia, and the Netherlands have pulled out of the competition following the decision.

For this weekend's PC Gamer column, I went for a walk through Kowloon Walled City

This Minecraft map that recreates one of history's most notorious slums made me reconsider what's important in 3D level design
Kowloon Walled City in Minecraft is a feat of virtual architecture, but it's missing one crucial ingredient.

How We Paint November
For a long time, people told me to play Pentiment. It’s an adventure role-playing game set in 16th century Bavaria. It’s historical. So I should like it, right? The thing is, I’m less interested in…
