We honour days long gone,
when Saul, #knight of Highmourne,
sounded first his ivory horn,
and rode to war under a crimson dawn.
Tales of his deeds returned, not he,
his fate remains deep in mystery.
At dawn we face the North in memory,
hoping to witness his return from the sea.
