An easy way to start building solidarity in your community is to shovel out your neighbors (or connect them with someone who can). Don't assume footpaths are a choice/laziness—plenty of people simply don't have the time, strength, or even just access to a shovel. Chip in where you can.

Ranged Touch got me back into a regular routine of reading for Myself after years of predominantly reading for Work AND they sometimes watch Hallmark movies. 10/10 network with 10/10 shows.

Working on Realis has been personally, professionally, and creatively satisfying, but it's also just been really fun. I'm so proud of everything Austin and Realis's team of illustrators accomplished over the last year (a lot!!!) and I can't wait to share more of it in the months to come. Game good.
One year ago today, I released the ashcan of REALIS, my first TTRPG. Today, we've got a near-complete draft that's 50,000 words longer than the preview that so many of you checked out, with over 100 new pieces of art.

Thanks to everyone who checked it out. And get ready for the KS later this year.

With all the buzz around Tacklebox, I'm so glad @rascal.news focused in on my favorite thing about the game—the reuniting of childhood friends @ludopolitics.bsky.social & @inauthenticity.bsky.social to flesh out its cards after diverging lives & decades apart. It was such a treat reconnecting them!
Tacklebox is a two-player RPG about fishing in surreal waters. It's also the story of two old friends who reuinited by chance as its co-designers.

playtest early! playtest because it's fun. you're going to surprise yourself with how little game is needed for a meaningful playtest.
Playtest early.

Lo-res prototypes: Encourage players to focus on fewer parts. Are easier to change. Encourage a wider range of feedback.

High-res prototypes, or semi-complete games, can be hard to test. They're often too busy, complicated, and polished to get honest, sometimes tough, feedback.
