AI sits in billions of phones. Refusing to engage won't stop it, just leaves vulnerable people without knowledge. Demand ownership and control, not abstinence.

I think the "prolonged interaction with the bias reinforcing machine causes you to recoil in disgust at other humans" will be a bigger issue than "somebody said a mean word about a computer" in the long run.
I am finding that my friends who use self-aggrandizing LLMs often, assume I take 'a tone' in our text convos that isn't there... because I am not glowingly sycophantic and hyper friendly in our conversations.

I've never made a dime off my art and am happy to treat it as a just a hobby instead of a Job, but I'm not selfish enough to think that everyone who does make a living from their art should accept being immiserated because I, personally, don't care about making money from that skill.
