In honor of Larry Summers, I asked the female members of my college class (1987) to say if they had any experiences with sexual harassment by teachers/professors, back when this was tolerated as, I dunno, the cost of attending college, and OH MY GOD.

If Congress overrides state and local AI regulations, Elon will be able to roll out his dangerous robotaxis anywhere he wants with no meaningful oversight from anyone but the Trump administration. Hell no. Call your reps now. #teslatakedown #MuskMustFall
They're at it again. Trump wants to reward his broligarch donors so he's telling Congress to sneak language into the military spending bill that would block any state or local laws regulating AI, including the laws that govern robotaxis. time to call Congress to say hell no. #teslatakedown

Wakefield literally made shit up for his initial paper. This was established well over a decade ago. Johnson is an active agent in the destruction of the United States. Whether he's actually paid by a foreign adversary or not, his actions & words express only contempt for the country and its people.
GOP Sen. Ron Johnson is crowing about Robert Kennedy Jr.’s CDC pushing debunked vaccine misinformation.

“Time to apologize to Dr. Andrew Wakefield and all the others who were maligned and vilified for simply asking the right questions,” he says.

Wakefield’s paper was *fraudulent.*

BREAKING: Federal judge rules that Trump's DC troop deployment is likely illegal — both as to D.C. National Guard and and out-of-state National Guard units — granting DC's request to block the use of the troops in this way.

The preliminary injunction is stayed until Dec. 11.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.

Trump is now seeming to endorse execution for his perceived enemies — retweeting a post that called for the hanging of Democrats who told servicemembers to refuse illegal orders.

He also claims the Dems are engaging in 'seditious behavior'.

Good example of how an acronym can dehumanize consequences and mask what’s going on. Syntactically, “Diversity slayer,” “equity slayer,” or “inclusion slayer” sounds weird. They aren’t “slaying” these things; they’re promoting and supporting their opposites: segregation, unfairness, and exclusion.

DC absolutely needs statehood so that the people who live there aren't ruled by goons they never elected. A genuine ongoing scandal and absolute betrayal of the principles of the country.
These 20 House Democrats just joined Republicans in voting to fully repeal DC's police reform laws.

Wiping off the books critical laws on use of force, transparency, and preventing violent cops from getting rehired.

They think that they should have more say over DC police than the people of DC.

The Labor Party across the pond are plummeting in support because they bought heavily into this idea that you can trade away the human rights of certain groups, and still be trusted as the voice of those who haven’t been traded off.

Yet.

Chinese electric car makers are sponsoring #cop30 in Brazil, but while China is now making more than 70 percent of the world’s electric cars, it’s almost impossible to buy one in North America

I looked at why in my latest for @aljazeera.com

China’s EVs dominate the world — why not in the US and Canada?
China makes more than 70 percent of the world's electric cars. But it's hard to find those vehicles in North America.

Cassidy in February: “If confirmed… CDC will not remove statements on their website pointing out that vaccines do not cause autism.”

The House has passed H.R. 5214, a bill to return DC to cash bail.

Cash bail creates two tiers of justice, one for people with money and one without. DC abolished it more than 30 years ago and crime has dropped precipitously since.

H.R. 5214 is wrong and we will continue to fight its passage.
