Catholic Bishops is Florida want a holiday moratorium on immigration enforcement so people can go to church and celebrate Christmas and New Years.
Florida Catholic Bishops call for moratorium on immigration enforcement during Christmas holidays
"Such a pause would show a decent regard for the humanity of these families," they said. "Now is not the time to be callous toward the suffering caused by immigration enforcement."

the most notable thing JD Vance has done in the last five years is tell vicious racist lies about immigrants. If you think he hasn't taken a side on bigotry, you are an idiot. He's for it. He's very strongly for it.

Rep. Comer: "The early numbers that I'm getting in on the Somalis in Minnesota is 75% of the Somalis in Minnesota are on full government assistance. That's full welfare."

"You haven't seen anything yet" is one of those things, like "what could possibly go wrong?" that you have a character say in a novel to indicate that the shit and the fan are about to learn each other's first names.

We all love that classic colloquial expression, don’t we folks

Reminder: it is not correct to refer to Conway as a "Never Trumper."

He was, in fact, a Trumper before he became a not-Trumper. He was literally a top pick to run Trump's DOJ in the first term. He was absolutely a Trumper.

I am SO PROUD of the organizers at Production Assistants United. People have been saying that unionizing PAs in Hollywood is impossible for DECADES. They are proving them wrong! Incredible. www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/bus...

Looking for the truth about what it was like inside CECOT?

Earlier this year, we spoke to the men the Trump administration deported to El Salvador. Hear about what they endured, in their own words: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8INs141xeQ

These are concentration camps. No other way to describe them. Truly horrific, and none of it surprising in the least.
30 minutes. Some deportees described sexual assault. Detainee describes the guard sexually assaulting most detainees. Lights left on all day. Prisoners not given clean water.

Now the DHS tour. Nobody spoke to the detainees. Noem's video was in a different area of the prison.

Yes, CECOT is a concentration camp in the guise of a prison. The Venezuelans were the first people to *ever* be released from CECOT since Bukele opened the prison in January 2023. Seriously. The first.

This is not supposition. This is plainly what happened:

People with a financial interest in stealing money from the Pentagon made an "AI" illustration of something World of Warships would reject as "too shit," put Trump branding all over it, and convinced him to let them "build" it.

Fucking idiot.

The banned 60 Minutes episode about the CECOT torture prison used by the Trump admin is now exploding across the internet. Be sure to watch so you can see the excellent reporting done by Sharyn Alfonsi & her team at 60 Minutes:
And now someone has uploaded a version that wasn't filmed off a TV.

There's also the torrent link there, which is probably the fastest way to download the 60 Minutes segment on CECOT if you want to save the file locally to your computer.

I think the "best" part of this (if there is such a thing) is that no one defied Weiss or smuggled this out or broke any laws to release it.

It was an automatic thing sent to an app in another country, because Weiss pulled the story at the last second without doing it properly.

The segment seems to contradict Bari’s assertion that the Trump administration didn’t respond to request for comment. Per the report, 60 Minutes reached out to DHS who declined a request for an interview and referred all questions about CECOT to El Salvador.
