Its an interesting read.

Overall his approval is dropping even with the 35+ males but CPC voters dont seem to blame him for the election results and dont want the party to be more centrist.

if so they are even more screwed up than I thought

Poilievre’s Prospects: CPC voters back him; those who could’ve put him over the top are far less supportive -Poilievre leadership review Canada
Poilievre retains base support, but opposition is growing: many who considered voting Conservative want new leadership in CPC.

Im still pissed off about that
Will the CPC try to bring down the gov over the budget ?

The majority of Canadians despise Pp and don't trust the CPC because of its affinity to Trump.

Knives are out for Pp.

Expect a few CPC MP’s will have the flue on the day they vote.

Ok, so we dont trade with China or the US. I’m assuming that India is out as well. Thats close to 50% of the worlds population and the bulk of the worlds GDP (countries 1, 2 , and 4).

How is that going to work ? I expect most Canadians want to retain their current standard of living.
Christine,

Do you support improving trade relations with China in order to move away from the US ?
I am also a centrist and support Carney. Somehow we need to get through this crisis a remain intact as a country that reflects our values.

I do not believe the CPC in its current form can do that.

I’m not convinced the NDP at this time can either.

Let’s work together.
Unfortunately we are also in the middle of a technological change. Many Canadians have economic and political reasons to maintain the course (O&G as an example). Others wish for more rapid change.

Carney is a centrist. He could be a red Tory but has been elected as a liberal.
I believe our government is trying to determine if we can even make a deal long term with the US. Trump will be gone soon, but what replaces him ?

Canada needs leverage to make a deal. The possibility of improving trade with China provides leverage but also has potential risks.
We will see how this plays out. For the time being I totally disagree with you.
Pp’s creativity is astounding !

Imagine being able to come up with “our cities are war zones” on his own.
Yes, Pp just seems angry. I saw him at the Calgary Stampede parade this year. Didn’t seem to be having much fun and it’s pretty hard not to enjoy the Stampede.

Carney on the other hand was laughing at himself flipping pancakes. I’d like to have a beer with him,
I was going to add that I’d likely smack him if I had more than one. Imagine you understand.
The beer test is a good matrix in itself.

Who would you sooner have a beer with - Carney or Pp ?
Good article from Democracy Tracker which articulates Americas democratic decline much better than I can.

But simply Trumps refusal to accept defeat at the end of his 1st term, gerrymandering electoral districts, pseudo military intervention in blue states etc.

Alberta is offering a tiny, unadvertised window for people to sign up for vaccines for next year (2026-2027) #abpoli #yql #yyc #yeg #cdnpoli
🚨 This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them.

This is not incompetence. It’s a deliberate choice to prevent as many people ..

I suppose if you are unable to articulate your position verbally then blowing coal is your best option.

If you are an asshole.
Assuming you still get to vote.

In a coordinated move, multiple federal agencies joined BlueSky yesterday and turned to trolling the opposition. Our Assessment on Democratic Decline warns of this autocratic practice: attacking the free press and narrowing the space in which factual reporting can safely operate without retaliation.
That was easy, thanks. If we could only get rid of the 🍊 pedo as easily.

Canadians already rejected Pierre Poilievre's politics of spectacle and division.

He's doubling down because it's all he has to offer.

He is such a “DICK” Im conflicted, does the party kick him out in January or should he stay on as he digs himself deeper into hole he can’t get out of?
The CPC would do well electing a centrist intelligent leader.

Oh, the LPC got him first.
