I live in Minneapolis and there are Antifa everywhere! They drink all the coffee and buy all the good produce at the farmer's market. I saw three of them at the dog park this afternoon. It's pretty scary stuff!

I think the purpose wasn’t to show the abuser’s brutality to the abusers. It was to show it to everyone else. Even a brutal autocracy only exists because it supported by regular people.

The new War of the Worlds movie is absolutely horseshit bad. One of the worst movies ever made. But at one point Ice Cube yells "I don’t have alien invasion insurance!" and I can't get that line out of my head.

I stay with my friends in Spanish Harlem all the time. It’s a legitimately lovely neighborhood. The coffee shop on the corner always remembers my order, even if I go months between a visit.

There's a moment. In AA they call it a "moment of clarity". In trans circles, it's called an "egg crack" moment. It's that moment when a belief just falls away and you see the world for what it is. That Trump presser about Tylenol must have been that for at least a few MAGA folks. He looked nuts.
