I live in Kent, so have a little sympathy for me…
Another one you can’t take your eyes off of in the #BBL What looked straightforward for the Sixers following a low scoring Heat has turned into a quagmire. Going to take some good batting from here!

Two great #BBL matches today. Really enjoying the competition this year. Brightens up the morning in freezing cold Blighty!

If we’re honest, the US has pulled the shenanigans it’s pulled in Venezuela before. I think the reason it’s made people normally ok angry with it is down to
1. They didn’t bother running a media campaign to normalise it
2. In the past we knew we could rely on the US to oppose anyone else doing it

JANUARY WELLNESS PLAN:
1. Calculate how much you'd usually spend in January on things like alcohol, cakes, bacon and snacks.
2. Think of all the other things you could spend that money on.
3.
4.
5. Spend it on alcohol, cakes, bacon and snacks.

Wait, all the people who said it was outrageous that a British riot-supporter was jailed for a tweet are now saying it's outrageous that a British person was released from an Egyptian prison, given his tweets?

I don't really post anymore, but I would like to carry on writing books at some point in the future.

Hate to be annoying, but any chance you could retweet so old twitter followers can find me if they want to? Going to delete my twitter, or at least abandon it on lock and let it die a slow death.

Am I making some sort of old fart error in how I reply to people on here? Whenever I dip my toe into actually interacting in a conversation the replies seem to be all over the place. It’s frustrating and doesn’t seem to work like conversation threads on other platforms.

One thing I always want to ask these masculinity entrepreneurs is why men can’t look to women as role models, and can’t see in women models of human virtue and thriving that are worth emulating. After all, women look to men for these all the time.

Hopefully more MPs on Starmer’s backbenches will be holding a position @tonyvaughanmp.bsky.social I don’t vote Labour but I expect more from them. If Starmer needs the Tories to push this through that should be the end of it. Still can’t believe how useless the PM is. The policy is stupid and racist
The Prime Minister said in September that we are at a fork in the road. These asylum proposals suggest we have taken the wrong turning.

The idea that recognised refugees need to be deported is wrong.

This is what happens when Reform wins power. They want the prestige but not the work. They are led by the absentee MP for Clacton, famous for not turning up for work in parliament and for his previous job as an MEP, so not really surprising.
