If we’re honest, the US has pulled the shenanigans it’s pulled in Venezuela before. I think the reason it’s made people normally ok angry with it is down to
1. They didn’t bother running a media campaign to normalise it
2. In the past we knew we could rely on the US to oppose anyone else doing it

Am I making some sort of old fart error in how I reply to people on here? Whenever I dip my toe into actually interacting in a conversation the replies seem to be all over the place. It’s frustrating and doesn’t seem to work like conversation threads on other platforms.

Hopefully more MPs on Starmer’s backbenches will be holding a position @tonyvaughanmp.bsky.social I don’t vote Labour but I expect more from them. If Starmer needs the Tories to push this through that should be the end of it. Still can’t believe how useless the PM is. The policy is stupid and racist
