But I did just finish the Pitt and while it was a bit too much Noah Wylie and a bit not enough everyone else! I did enjoy it a lot. Especially Fiona! I’m so happy she’s in such a successful show!

Oh dear s3 of Daryl Dixon did not start well! It appeared to be written by people who had
1 never been to England
2 never watched the Walking Dead!
If I were Melissa I’d want to sue somebody 🤣😡🤣

Just remembered the people behind me in the book shop that said they thought there were too many books now. Books were ok to give as gifts if you could find the right one to match the person.
They definitely seemed to not get reading! And this was a group of women older than me! Sad librarian!

At Waterstones for a signing by Miriam Margoyles and they are having us wait outside and all but one of their books in the main part of the display are by men except for Nobody’s girl. And I just can’t think of a stronger condemnation of mainstream publishing.

From the days when ancient humans carved animals into cave walls and fashioned flutes from swan-bones, and all the way through the mists of time until we reach the Portland Frog, they can try to cut down the human impulse for creativity in the face of despair and it will just keep coming back again.

How much of this moment's awfulness is artificially cultivated top-down to keep people cowed? Arts and humanities keep despair at bay, whether it is top-down or internal, which is why administrators of the moment love to hate it, replace it with AI (good luck), etc etc.

They can't, though

My brand new book Song of Spores is just $4.99 on the Kindle!

A fun space opera adventure that's also very trans, queer and intersex (like me). So um, *now* might be a good time to pick it up!

Spread the word! Costs less than an iced matcha latte 😆

Remember. We know these drugs are safe. There is no need to do any of this.
The “Pathways” trial is, IMO on more than one level, a thoroughly unethical piece of “research” to be carrying out on children, especially children who are part of a marginalised minority.

2/ The instructions are just… fascinating? Well, every piece of public record I’ve uncovered on this subject so far has been fascinating, but this paragraph is exceptional.

It contradicts the Supreme Court directly, comprehensively, and unequivocally.

Cis people, how many times have you been asked to describe how you masturbate, and what you think about when you do, to access healthcare on the NHS?

Two stars to the city and the city by China Mieville, the only reason this is urban fantasy is because it's SO totally unrealistic! 🤣

I definitely heard from trans people that the reason we use “deadname” is because it’s the name that gets reported when you are dead/murdered or put on your grave before you were legally allowed to change it. But I’ve not found a written source for that. Google is useless now. Anyone help?

Well not only are therapists and psychiatrists utterly fucking terrible at diagnosing ADHD when it’s sitting there in front of them with a fidget toy interrupting their every third word to talk about squirrels, it’s also possibly THE most common problem they see coming through their doors.

If you use AI, you are destroying the planet - regardless of the human cost. ChatGPT alone consumes almost a million bathtubs' worth of water every day and more electricity per year than 117 countries consume. And that's just one AI company.

Queens of the Dead!!!!! Finally it came to a cinema in London!! And it was utterly perfect and everything I hoped it would be! So glad I got to see it in the cinema. Even if the “big” screen was small it was fun seeing it with a bunch of other queer people who were enjoying it as much as I did.
