Not getting involved in this cissexual discourse except to say I imagine trans people who don't fit whatever definition of transsexual is being used here, would potentially feel hurt and excluded by a term that calls them cis.

TACC/TEN's attempt to reopen Goodwin is a major factor here. To avoid it, I think Phillipson must both revert to 2011 and promise Europe that she's looking at plugging the loopholes at the very least. She'll have to hold her nose to do that of course.

That's the best route I can see for a climbdown from Labour. The various JRs will help immensely by repeatedly proving that implementation of EHRC's plan is impossible, expensive, and must ultimately fail.

That's all I have.

So we need to keep the pressure on. Remind them the current situation is intolerable all round, maybe push for them to revert formally to the 2011 guidance (effectively advising that FWS should be quietly ignored) and hinting about legislative solutions...

BREAKING: Yesterday Grand Theft Auto VI maker Rockstar Games fired dozens of people, all of whom were involved in union efforts. A British union calls it "blatant and ruthless" union-busting. Take-Two Interactive says it was due to misconduct.
