The structure of American politics is such that essentially anyone we elect president will be boxed in on so many fronts that they can't change everything all at once, but I would rather elect someone who would like to try doing that and fail than someone who's a little too happy in the box.

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.
Hundreds of kids are still detained.

Not to sound like the old fart I am, but when I started university it was drummed into me that plagiarism was the sin of sins, the unforgiveable crime. Now, apparently, they're blasé... indeed, they advise you to do it! As long as you get a chatbot to do it for you! Harrrrrummph etc.
Nothing to see here other than a university telling its research community that AI can appropriately be used to "generate first drafts."
