Schumer isn't going to lead us where we're going, but there are signs he can be persuaded to follow. Now, I would prefer our leaders lead, but that's happened so rarely at the national level that I don't count on it.
Schumer calls for Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller to be removed from their jobs.

In your press release it states that when you made this report of Anadith's death under the Biden administration,

"The report made fourteen recommendations, of which CBP agreed to thirteen"

You already tried this reform bullshit and you got it.

It's not fixed because reform doesn't fix it

Video from this morning shows ICE agents deploying tear gas outside a Minneapolis preschool as parents shout, “This is a preschool! There’s kids here!”

Mainstream outlets keep framing this as "Trump puts Susan Collins in a tough position" or whatever...but isn't the simplest explanation that she's OK with the terror campaign and wants it to continue unimpeded? #MEpolitics

Wait a minute, engaging in primaries shifts the Overton window?????

But I thought we shift it by preemptively surrendering and letting fascists win because our elected Dems are preemptively surrendering and letting fascists win
Kat Abughazaleh doesn't just influence the Overton Window; when she speaks she sits in the driver's seat of the Overton Window. She has shaped this race and shows the dedication & awareness to shape the national conversation. We're all done with the chickenshits; Kat meets the moment.
ICE does not need more training. They’re doing exactly what they’re trained to do.

Democrats cannot vote for a single cent to ICE.

Do you honestly think people in the civil rights movement and other nonviolent movements faced no violence themselves? They practiced nonviolence because it works, because the oppressor wants a shooting war, which is the war it will win
How's your non-violent working Mr Gandhi stancil? They will kill each and everyone of you right if they had the chance and you will still be writing Kumbaya.
Observers have been working day and night to protect these neighborhoods from ICE, make the streets safe so kids can go to school and people can go to their jobs. Burning down the street undoes all our work. The people setting fires haven’t been putting in long hours watching plates or doors.

I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.

This is courage. Looking a masked, government fascist dead in the eye, face to face, knowing full well that your life is on the line.

If elected officials had 1/10th of Alex Pretti's resolve, we would have far fewer troubles.

ICE is violently assaulting peaceful protestors & entering homes without warrants. They shot an innocent mom in the head & used a 5-year-old as bait.

I voted against funding, but that’s not enough. Abolish and dismantle ICE. If you support this shit, you are sick in the head.

Body cameras do not fix this. Better training does not do this. Shutting down the agency and engaging in large-scale Nuremberg Trials are the way to handle denazification.

Elected Dems are complicit. They’re still confirming Trump nominees and acting like strongly worded letters or calls for investigations mean anything.

Senators have real power to obstruct business if they want to use it. Fucking use it. Pull all the levers. It’s only going to get worse from here.
