The phrase, "elementary school appropriate know your rights posters" entered my vocabulary this past April due to seeing said posters for the first time during a substitute teaching gig.

I'd be really curious if someone better versed in feminist theory wrote about what's happening on the right. Because between Greene, Mace, and Bobert, we've got this bloc forming of women who seem tired of serving a patriarchy of sex criminals. And their rhetoric is starting to lean that direction.

For some critical context, the exact same thing happened during Reagan's time in office. Overt white nationalists saw his dogwhistling on state's rights as a signal that they'd get what they want & they subsequently radicalized when Reagan didn't deliver.

What we're seeing with Republicans turning on Trump is in no way a repudiation of Trumpism and the Republican white nationalist project, but instead the effect of these people realizing the regime failed to consolidate power as promised and Trump is physically deteriorating in public view.
