It's good to know he was an all around solid person. Of course it is. But we don't have to market his goodness. He was alive and taking care of his community. That is why his death is wrong. He did nothing against any law. That's the issue, not how good a victim he was. May he rest in peace.

If you want to use that angle thats your business, but understand that what you're fundamentally saying is that you're comfortable with this exact kind of state-sponsored violence being used against groups you have deemed unsavory vs those you have deemed to be worthy of your empathy.
ICE is not law enforcement, they are not police, they are paramilitary. Opposing ICE is not against law enforcement, it is not against police, it is against paramilitary.
