This “One homeland. One people.” framing echoes Nazi propaganda almost verbatim. “Ein Volk” was the core of the Third Reich’s slogan, identity fused to nation and enforced unity. That parallel would've alarmed anyone who knows the history, which makes this unlikely to be accidental.

When playing multiplayer strategy games, I can get frustrated if some players massively profit off of dumb neighbors committing suicide and them reaping the returns by basically doing nothing and then getting everything.

In Kyjiw wurde eine Notabschaltung der Stromversorgung veranlasst. Bedeutet: Wasser- und Wärmeversorgung in der Hauptstadt sind vollständig eingestellt. Der elektrische Nahverkehr steht still – bei -10 °C. Die Hoffnung liegt auf schneller und effektiver Arbeit der Reparaturteams.

One cynical and depressing fact I know is that when the state begins to collapse and society breaks down, it is inadvisable to be the last person following laws that are no longer enforced justly and equitably
If the executive branch can unilaterally cut off federal funding to specific states the union has already been dissolved.
