Does the average person even know about the CSAM that users were making Grok generate? Let alone it wasn't because of a lapse of judgement in some robot doing exactly what it was programming to do? Or will everyone go back to work on Monday and be told to continue using AI and normalize it more?
This is a thread of major media outlets falsely anthropomorphising the "Grok" chatbot program and in doing so, actively and directly removing responsibility and accountability from individual people working at X who created a child pornography generator (Elon Musk, Nikita Bier etc)

If there's one thing 2026 will continue to bring is my excitement and joy to hang out in VRChat with friends! Still amazes me how much it can replicate hanging out in person with people across the world. To many more chill worlds, social games, Vkets and of course Furry Karaoke!

Drives me crazy when people think I'm overreacting everytime they use genAI image generators to make Ghibli avatars or picture of their pets ultimately contributing to stuff like this happening.
For the last few days on X, people (mainly women, and sometimes children) have had nonconsensual images of them in swimsuits (or much worse) requested by users and created by Grok.
Musk's only apparent response thus far has been to crack jokes about it.

Not an artist, but I do have some idea of metrics. What is the value of a like on Twitter vs Bsky? If an artist is worried about losing their audience because audience = exposure = sales, how much of that Twitter engagement are converting to sales? Wouldn't the ones that matter follow you to Bsky?

Year Walk, Device 6, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. Simogo has developed some of my all time favorite games. I thought a title like Device 6 would forever be walled on iOS but now YOU have the chance to play it! And other games that helped redefine what a mobile game could and should be.

One of what feels like the few who still really enjoys VR because of the disproportionate amount of time I spend in VRChat (and probably 50% of that time in Furry Karaoke). Only one I am surprised is that ARC Raiders didn't bubble up to push out Tabletop Simulator.
