The Labour Government refused a 1% asset tax on the super rich, yet raised taxes on people already struggling.

All whilst their "black hole" turned out to be utter nonsense.

Active choices to refuse to fund our communities which they desperately need.

Real action on climate change requires funding, not just rhetoric. The govt must commit to contributing to the Tropical Forest Forever Facility fund and Just Transition Mechanism if we are to address climate breakdown.

You've hit the nail on the head. It's absurd that essential car travel is taxed heavily while frequent flying gets a free pass. This isn't just unfair, it's terrible climate policy. We must tax aviation fuel. #MakePollutersPay #FlightFreeFuture
When will we extend fuel duty to the luxury of flying - and add VAT? We have both taxes applied to motorists - people going to work and about their daily lives, get taxed to the max. People flying round the word - nothing. It can’t be justified.

The country wants a wealth tax on assets.

They're panicking because "won't the rich just leave" has been utterly debunked.

They've got no actual argument.

In London Town on family business today.

Nobody stole my watch.

Nobody tried to stab me.

Everyone I met was polite.

My Tube carriages weren’t graffitied.

Great city; great people.

Maybe people should stop listening to suburban London doomers posting for X money from degenerate Musk?

It’s infuriating. Here was a chance to do something bold and the Chancellor bottled it. And it wouldn’t even have been politically risky as most people support wealth tax. And why not tax #privatejets? Again, masses of support @wearepossible.bsky.social

"Ordinary people are going to see their income tax bills increase"

@adrianramsay.bsky.social explains how Labour's budget fails to address unprecedented cost of living pressures- and how a wealth tax would raise revenues to fund our infrastructure and public services.

Happy to have supported Clifton Down Growing Space in its bid for CIL funding. The council's Area 3 committee agreed unanimously to back it. The funding will mean more raised beds, permanent watering facilities, and the chance for more people to grow their own food. Great use of a disused car park.
