Fascism is not an ideology that leads to violence, it is violence that leads to an ideology
The reason it is important to understand that fascists are motivated by an underlying thirst for violence - that Hitler started with a desire to eliminate Jews in Germany and worked backwards to the mess of ideas and actions that became Nazism - is it helps you predict what fascists will do.
