Matt Yglesias is also just so fucking stupid. The fact he has a following is insane
When this is how you move through the world that's a massive testament to your world view.

You can find plenty of write ups like this about him. I'm sure if you're his friend he's great. But his worldview is fucked.
A Brief History Of Matt Yglesias Screwing Workers | Revolving Door Project
Yet, for someone who self-characterizes as coming out of the labor-liberal tradition, Yglesias’ analysis—as well as his actions—often seem to indicate otherwise.

I can *100% assure you* that if this report found that trans people & "wokeness" tanked the Harris campaign, the DNC would release it in a heartbeat
BREAKING: The Democratic National Committee will NOT release its long-awaited autopsy on Trump's 2024 win. The report is completed but Dem leaders decided it could distract from their winning streak, so it will remain secret. Not good.

Muting a Black woman to claim the vote was unanimous is so incredibly on the nose
The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

Politicians can fund campaigns without calling rich people. They just have to want to do it.

I sometimes think Hochul has done just enough for NY and has been just loud enough fighting Trump to fend off Delgado in a primary next year, but then she does stuff like this.
BREAKING: NY Gov. Kathy Hochul gutted an AI regulation bill awaiting her signature and replaced it wholesale with a weaker version sought by Big Tech firms. At least two of the groups lobbying on the bill held fundraisers for Hochul in recent weeks.
