- you could also say linen is "underwater spun", because the long fibers need to be wet while you turn them into thread

I also want to reiterate that the obsession with determining whether Rachel Reid is straight or not actually works to make invisible the fact that a GAY MAN created the show. The show is from a gay man's perspective. It is informed by his experience as a gay man. It is a gay man's show.

You can either get mad at people on Reddit or you can start 5 collections of trans work to share with everyone and try to uplift the voices of artists people say don't exist. Even if it's just a bit.

The secret to "becoming the guy who can recommend a lot of trans work" is to be petty about something by supporting others and I'm NOT even kidding. When someone complains that your work "isn't x" or "isn't y enough" that is YOUR TIME TO PROMOTE SOMEONE ELSE'S WORK WHOLE HEARTEDLY.
Finally... over 300 tm/m and tm/tm stories and projects in one collection... so I can shove it in the faces of people on Reddit (and elsewhere) who complain when I post tm/f art and complain that gay trans work is "impossible to find"... WELL SAY THAT AFTER YOU READ ALL 300+!!!!

Spoke to Greg Ketter, owner of DreamHaven Books, just now. He’s grateful for all the book orders & knows the store’s site is struggling w/ the demand. Employees coming Monday to reboot the site & pack orders. There are so many that it may take a few extra days so please be patient & keep fighting. ✊🏽
