I got new shoes and while I'm sure the fracture problem is still there it's entirely fixed the actual pain of it because I"m not putting pressure on it anymore. Even at my fastest walk which is usually where it shows up. Extremely relieved

Today I learned that the cognitive impact many of us deal with is most similar to that of people with traumatic brain injuries.

I just remembered that before Nashville VIP just as Sung was about to run on we heard a thud & a ptptpt noise and then he ran on and back off and after 5 minutes (and 2 people running on to get things to troubleshoot) they cut the gameshow music and went back to normal music. and played Tubthumping

I'm not getting dragged into this mindset of negativity towards things I like being the default healthy state. If my mindset towards something becomes negative by default I'm going to simply move on to something I actually enjoy because fandom isn't a lifelong commitment

and like, sorry, no! I actually had the crisis of "do I like this because I like it or bc a band I like made it?" in 2009 when 21st Century Breakdown came out and I can now enjoy things from the bands I like in peace and trust myself that if I didn't like it, I wouldn't trick myself into it.
