We've contributed to this article breaking down your protest rights and what this new law could mean

Jenrick closing down debate as he’s being asked questions, by saying he’s being shut down, then blaming the journalist for others behaviour. Absolutely appalling.

@stuartjeffery.bsky.social thank you 🙏 for taking forward the pardon for women labelled and burned as ‘witches’. I honestly think about this injustice a lot.
It has also done a lot to remove us from our connection with nature.

I was recently given a gift of a book, all about symbiotic relationships. It’s perfect, curled up in front of a fire, heaven. @sophiepavs.bsky.social

Illustrated artwork showing five different wild cat species in a tropical setting. From largest to smallest: a brown mountain lion (puma), two spotted jaguars, an ocelot with distinctive orange-brown markings, and a small spotted wildcat. The cats are arranged in a naturalistic scene with palm fronds, red flowers, and other tropical vegetation in the background. The composition shows the relative size differences between these feline species native to the Americas.

Heat deaths. Let that sink in. This should be a wake-up call.

It's the job of govts across the world to keep their citizens safe. Instead, from continuing oil and gas drilling to dragging their feet on making our homes and workplaces safe from extreme weather, they're failing.
Screenshot of headline reading: Human-made global warming 'caused two in three heat deaths in Europe this summer'

Subheading: Researchers from Imperial College London say 16,500 deaths caused by hot weather brought on by greenhouse gases

Racism isn’t innate, writes Dr Steve Taylor.

It’s a sign of insecurity and poor psychological health, not a hardwired human instinct.

From #TheConversation -- thanks!
Here are the five stages that may lead to racism
There is no genetic or biological basis for dividing the human race into distinct “races”

Problem is that after a few years, most people normalize extreme climate as normal
They also normalize disappearance of world Bees insects birds wildlife, marine life, forests wetlands and their replacement with a sterile barren lifeless landscape as normal

Loved taking a short walk up a near hill to get a view of the ‘blood’ full moon and eclipse on Sunday. Small moments of connection to our world.

We must tackle inequality.

Your bills are not high because of migrants.

The NHS is not crumbling because of migrants.

It's because of politicians who only serve the super rich. 👇🏼
