I'm so excited to share my frame for #YouDrewMeALovelyFrame!! This was an incredible project and such a wonderful, supportive group of artists to be a part of, and I learned how to do a new type of art (linocut)! #ofmdart ❤️❤️
A linocut print of a frame from the Ed/Stede beach kiss scene in OFMD 2x08, during the second kiss in the sequence. Ed's hand with the spider tattoo visible is holding Stede's face, both their eyes are closed, and Ed's nose is squishing into Stede's cheek while they kiss. Stede has a very blissful, peaceful expression on his face and Ed's is more intensely emotional. There's a black border around the image and the background is blank except for some little gesture lines left over from the block carving process that I decided to keep in.

This is so amazing, & so wonderful to be a part of! I signed up for one & ended up taking on two more frames as a pinch hitter.

I had a very clear vision for all of my frames. The first one was inspired by Roy Lichtenstein's work & references his piece 'In the Car'.

this page of izzy hands' diary was actually recovered....
izzys opening monologue from s1e6. it is written in early modern english so as to be period-accurate. there is a crossed out heart with "ET + IH" written in it. at the bottom are two stick drawings: one is of izzy stabbing stede (who is crying and bleeding out). an arrow pointing at izzy says "me (real pirate)" and another at stede saying "stupid twat". the second drawing is of ed with his arm on izzys shoulder, stede dead behind them. an arrow pointing at ed and iz says "partners in crime". it is important to note that izzy draws himself taller than stede and only slightly shorter than ed.
