From the very beginning, no matter how polite the language to refer to us has become over the years, we are seen as a pathology to curtail, limit, and frankly eliminate entirely if at all possible.

Harms against us are routine because our existence is seen as intolerable by cis society.

In the original post being quoted, there's a gif quickly listing several different horror movie character archetypes - one per frame - with the intent being that you pause the gif to figure out which archetype you'd be based on what frame you randomly land on. I got "The Killer", as written in white capitalized text in the middle of the screenshotted frame. The background of the frame is black with red blood splatters.
