it's pretty obvious what's going to happen in 28 because we went through this with iraq in 08: everyone's going to ignore the pro-war (genocide here) candidates and vote for the person most of us aren't familiar with because they staked their anti position early and with seemingly real conviction
Josh Shapiro believes he is uniquely suited to win over Trump voters—but he’ll need to overcome distrust among some in his own party first, Tim Alberta reports: theatln.tc/mR9AHSG4

It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.
Exclusive: Amazon has long been USPS’s top customer, providing over $6 billion in annual revenue in 2025.

But Amazon may give up its long-standing partnership with USPS to deliver packages itself, which could spell disaster for the mail agency.

Oh, absolutely

All the time I think, one little hole would surely fix this
you can be the most reasonable, intelligent, measured person on the planet and 3 minutes of a migraine will have you looking longingly at a drill and considering whether trepanning was honestly that bad of an idea

I love how libs act like laws enacted in the past can never be changed. That laws created by man are apparently just a law of nature. Nothing can ever get better because it can never change.

It *isnt*. That’s the other problem. The bookkeeping that shows losses is because it’s forced by law to pre-fund lifetime pensions for every employee *plus* some abstract number tha haven’t even been hired yet. It’s a made up accounting scheme GOP forced on them to make them look unprofitable.

More proof of what @prisonculture.bsky.social says that most people in this country have no idea what's going on:

Yesterday two different clients told me they wanted to take their cases to the Supreme Court because they knew there was still a liberal majority.

Liberals still using Bernie as their boogeyman is like people who still talk about Russia being communist. They never actually interact with any of the things they talk about, so they’re stuck in some fictional past they’ve created in their head to justify their current horrific opinions.

The first Five Nights At Freddy's movie takes place in 2000. The new one takes place in 2002.

That means in between movies, 9/11 happened. Freddy Fazbear watched the towers fall. Toy Bonnie signed up for the marines on September 12th.

Remember folks, during winter every ten degree temperature drop lowers your tire’s PSI by 1 so it’s very important to go to the gas station and notice that the air thing doesn’t work and then do that five more times at five different gas stations

you couldn't trust the old FBI about this shit and if you think you could i got a bridge to sell you
CNN reporting that the DC pipe bomber was motivated by Trump’s lies about the 2020 election. It’d be nice if we had an FBI run by people we could trust to tell the truth about these types of things.

USPS doesn't "lose money" it is a public service paid for by our tax dollars, it is not meant to make a profit. Also it is guaranteed by our constitution, so there's that.

One thing the Blue MAGA “what do you expect Dems to actually do!?” people can never account for: they just keep approving Trump judges

Why? What 4-D chess could you possibly contort yourself into believing that would make that make sense?

They’re simply not on our side.

The easiest thing for Democrats to do would be to stop confirming Trump judges, but they can’t even be bothered to do that. Just failure all the way down.

I really hate these people.

Watching Hakeem Jeffries do politics is like watching a Jets quarterback do football.
Jeffries: "The border is secure. That's a good thing. It happened on his watch. He wants to claim credit for it, of course he'll get credit for that. In terms of making sure that we actually deal with the issues that matter, including on immigration, there's a lot that's left to be desired."

the funny thing about refusing to quit spotify is that the vast majority of people only use it to listen to their top ten favorite artists

if you took that $15/month and spent it on the new album from your faves directly, you would be supporting them 1000x more for the same amount of music
